Are you ready to see this  amazing Jane’s Carousel Trash the Dress Session? I love manhattan, but Brooklyn has a very special place in my heart. Many couples are not able to do their wedding day portraits on their day due to many reasons like: rain, time delays among other things. Trash the dress sessions are perfect for after wedding day photos. Couples get to spend time with me without the pressure of a wedding day timeline.

Though Paola & Elias reside in Queens New York & tied the knot recently— We decided to do a “Trash the Dress” Session in a place they had never been to before: Dumbo, Brooklyn NY. We had little time to plan this session but when I tell you that it exceeded my expectations I am not lying. Paola had told me her wedding gown was not white — She said it in a tone of like (I hope you’re okay with that) I FROZE — My heart stopped for a few seconds WHHAAATTTTT???!!! I love out of the box brides! My ideal bride was talking to me — We had found each other ..& When I thought it could not get any better… She confessed to me she designed the dress herself* (gulp…gulp again*) Oh my Lanta! — Just wait until you see her gown! The setting of Jane’s Carousel was absolutely romantic and so different for this couple — It was plain magical! I think the place really took all of us back to thinking how life’s simple pleasures really are found in the little things — A carousel, feeling like a kid again, having fun with your spouse!

Thank you Elias & Paola for allowing me to capture some of the photos that will be carried on through your generations — I was reminded once more how beautiful marriage is, how we are God’s bride, and He longs for us and loves us unconditionally.

Elias truly thinks Paola is a QUEEN ( & she is) So he bought her a few crowns — This one was one he gifted her with for their engagement session…
