This Juniper on the water micro wedding took place before the pandemic started. I had not had a chance to blog it, but thought it would be perfect for all couples who are getting married in the middle of COVID. Micro weddings have never been so popular until now and I want to give you some tips on how to navigate them. You can visit THE KNOT links to find out about the difference between a microwedding, minimony and an elopement!
First of all — If you are reading this I KNOW you must have had to reschedule your wedding. I am so sorry for all that has been happening, COVID really hit us all unexpectedly, taking so much from us, but I am here to give you some tips that might make changes easier. I always try to see the silver lining in every situation. Downsizing your wedding might be not only the smartest and or healthiest option, but it might also be the most stress free option. Weddings with large amount of guest have many more planning, money and details involved. Micro weddings or smaller weddings will aid your pockets as well as help you enjoy your day more. If your budget hasn’t changed, you can invest in a much needed planner that can help you with your big day.
Also, this is the perfect time to remind you that this is YOUR wedding. Many of my couples want to invite people based on what their family wants, not realizing how much more it’ll cost. Take a moment to rethink your wedding guest list. Consider removing the people that might not be in your life in the next 10 years. I assure you, the list will get shorter.
